some people never had experience with....

Air. Well, our city air is thick with auto exhaust today. Which means that the air quality outside is approaching the quality of the office in which I work. I look up at the two exposed air filters in the whirring ventilation system above me. Blue synthetic furnace-like filters now grey with dust and particles. They should actually start selling them after their untimely removal as garden seed starters, there's enough dirt in them for it.

I really hope they think it's worth it. The money they save on replacing the filters is already long lost on sick days. When you calculate in what it's going to cost them in medical insurance to have us all treated for emphysema and other assorted lung illnesses you can't help wonder about the business acumen of our management. But oh well, who I am to question the mysterious and wondrous ways of our fearful quasi-leaders.

Oh, and if you can name the reference in the title of this entry, you will have my undying respect and devotion.

Alice, the only answer I can come up with is that he's a heartless cruel bastard. Or he can't read. Probably put my money on the chance it's both.
