About Halfway There - Part 1
Statistically I've reached about half my projected lifespan. Perhaps I'm a little past half in mileage considering my current wear and tear. I must say, pretty awesome journey thus far. This "life" thing is kinda cool. Glad I have this opportunity to poke around with one. Seen and done some pretty nifty stuff. Still a few things I should try to experience before it's over though.
Here's the first thing that comes to my mind as I sit here in my cube... *twitch*
I'd like to work for a good company for a good boss while doing something I really like. Seems like I can usually hit about only one or two of the three in my past. It'd be cool to nail all three at least once. And how sad is it that I barely manage even one of those in my current situation. Oy. Mind you I said "good" and "really like". This technically gives me enough wiggle room to succeed. I didn't say "fantastic" and "adore". Wiggle room is important. If I ever build a house... it's gonna have a wiggle room. I ain't tellin' what I'm putting in it. If I ever give a tour of the house, I'm sayin': "And behind that door is the wiggle room." And when the ask what a wiggle room is, I'll say, "I'm not telling" and it'll only have one key which I'll keep on me at all times so they can't sneak in there and see the stuff in there that I'm not tellin' no one about. Where was I? Oh yeah.. the vocation trifecta, good boss, good company, good work. Would like to see that someday. Would really be spiff.
