Skyway Task Force

The Skyway Task Force

Us:

Oolong Tea 19 scrapper (katana/regen)
Absolute Frosty 17 blaster (ice/ice) (sk to Dyna)
Squidboy McSquiddy 20? peacebringer (squiddy stuffs) PORTER
Ebonmahr 20 defender (dark/dark)
SunByrne 1? controller (fire/emp) PORTER
Dynatosia 20 defender (ff/dark) PORTER

and possibly some guest appearances by Jack Sprat 20 scrapper (martial arts/regen)

Task Force Summary:

The mission will start up in Skyway... we all have to be in zone to form the Task Force.

Oolong Tea will be the TF leader as she got super jump. That'll make getting back to Synapse a breeze until she can call in for mishes.

Right off the bat we divide up. Oolong will stay in Skyway City with Synapse to report in when things are concluded on the first part. It'll save a ton of travel time and first part is EZ. Everyone else heads to Steel Canyon and tries to get to Positron. At this point the remainder of us will spread out in Steel Canyon, each taking a different quadrant to hit the patrol navs. Once we hit them all we will spread out to waste 30 clocks mission. Oolong stays back to Synapse and we clean up the clocks ASAP. Once done and all contacts are cleared Oolong will beat hell for Steel Canyon when we get our first indoor nav point.

We will then start a series of three indoor missions in Steel Canyon. When the nav shows up for the mish those with recall should make haste for the mish entrance and port the stragglers. We complete the series of three indoor missions and finish up with a visit to Positron that Oolong will perform.

We'll get another patrol mission with only 2 locations and another indoor mission. Then another patrol 5 locations (the closest porter to BT immediately heads to the entrance and zips to the middle of it upon acquisition of the patrol 5 mission to save us some time getting to the next mission). We'll get an indoor located in BT which the porter should be able to recall all to the entrance. We'll fight Big Bertha in there and kick her butt *crosses fingers*. Upon completion of this Oolong should be able to start calling missions in to Synapse now, saving us a little more time.

We'll acquire two more indoor missions, one with a boss named LongTom and the next with The Clockwork Lord. After the Clockwork Lord is defeated and we stay indoors until we are at full and ready for a combat. When we exit the mission here and call in for a new one odds are we will get ambushed by The Babbage. The Babbage is a Big Ass Nasty Clock or a BANC as I like to call 'em. We do NOT need to defeat him to complete the TF. He's worth some nummy exp though.. and a badge I believe, but he's also a bastard. So we can decide beforehand or during if we want to bug. The last time we tried him we had some near deaths but we took him down nonetheless.

After The Babbage is dealt with, in one fashion or another, Oolong will head to Positron one last time to pick up our Big Gun to help with The Clockwork King. It is imperative that Oolong saves it for The Clockwork King, it's our only edge. Upon acquisition of the weapon we will get the last indoor mission at this time everyone should go sell out and be empty of all enhancements - just in case. You'll still want to watch inside the mission and trash any junk ones you get just to make sure you have room for the single origin that is coming up when we provide a formal BoA for The Clockwork King. One lucky person will also get another single for defeating The Clockwork King.. so keep a minimum of two slots open before we take him down. Once we defeat him, leave the mission, report in to Synapse and.. whaaaalaa! we are done!

Any questions?

Can you print this thing out for Oolong? She doesn't always remember directions well and tends to go charging around (as scrappers are wont to do). Thank you!

Actually with Dyna's fields our scrappers are going to be closer to tanks in their ability to manage damage. They just won't be able to perform as effective agro-control as a tank could. Don't let it go to yer heads though scrapperz. I have a feeling with a team of 6-7, we'll be seeing a lot of bosses who still may be able to touch your no-no places. Don't get me wrong, we're still sending you in first... >:) hee... like you'd have it any other way.

Yup, the clocks can be anywhere for the 30 hunt, but there's usually enough on the rooftops of SC to go around. If the seem scarce we'll send the Squid and a damage slave of his choice to his special hunting spot in Perez. I have a feeling I know where he's talking about.. lotsa cogs there to be had usually. And they count.

Oh! For those of you who have never done a TF before important note:

You cannot visit any of your other contacts to buy inspirations during the TF. Stock up beforehand on whatever you feel will keep you alive. The standard fare usually includes quite a few greens and some light light blue... for when the greens fail.

I think this is the TF I recently did with a bunch of people I didn't know a week or so ago. We had a good group for the most part. The only time people died was when they went off on their own and got themselves in trouble. Try to stay in my disp bubble when we get to the indoor mishes! And if yer bubbs go dry please send me a reminder to refresh em. I should really find out what the timing is on those.

Hear that faint wimpering behind us? Yeah, it's all those Clocks still cringing from the stinging we put on 'em.

There was some smug satisfaction to be had watching him solo Babbage... waiting for the impending doom to fall upon his spawn ganking head.
