A Kinder, Gentler Grend31?

It has been brought to my attention that I can sometimes appear to be the heartless cruel beast that is the Grend31.

I'd like to take this moment to apologize for any discomfort I have caused anyone. I do not write to harm others, but rather to evoke or illicit perhaps sometimes even provoke. If there does not appear to be method behind my madness you damn well better call me on it. I expect no less, no more. I do not put myself into any situation where I cannot take what I'm giving. I've also prided myself on my ability to listen and internalize what comes my way in a relatively healthy way.

If I appear critical of something, harsh or judgemental, I probably am. There is a time to couch things comfortably and there is a time to spit it all out. I've probably also forgot to mention my motives and objectives in being such. Not minor details I know, but I've never claimed to have any skill at this form of communication. And these motives and objectives are usually heartfelt in nature. If I find out they are not, I am quite able to eat crow in a wide variety of preparations. Granted I still do not like the taste of it, most of us do not. But when it is the right thing to do, you'll find me ready at the table, napkin 'round neck, fork and knife in hand, sitting up straight.

That was nice mister monster. You know, I bet you don't really eat Vik's and Scand's for midnight snacks. I'm sure it's just all a misplaced propaganda campaign by those stupids nords.

Ever read John Gardner's Grendel? I'm a fan...
