Our First Friday GOTH Haiku Awards Ceremony

I'd like to thank you all for coming to the First Friday GOTH Haiku Awards Ceremony. We here at Club Grend31 would like to convey our greatest sympathy to you, our readership. We attempted to acquire Chris Rock to host this Awards Ceremony, but when we found we had absolutely no clue on how to reach him and that our effective budget was about $2.13 it was decided by management that you would have to be stuck with Grend31 as your host. Hey, you get whatcha pay for. He's cheap, easy, and pretty much willing to do anything we ask and accepts those Easter Reeses peanut butter eggs as payment.

Now on with the awards:

The award for Most Psychoanalytic Haiku goes to DewDew for his work "Goth Esteem".

The award for Most Empathetic Haiku goes to Paula for her piece entitled "Offend-a-Goth".

The award for Most Compassionate Haiku goes to AliceBabylon for "Goth Hug".

Several new awards were given out by the judges this year, simply to make note of a not-so-up-coming Haiku author who "they really don't ever want to hear from ever again"... *ahem* That would be me...

The award for Most Nasty Piece of Dung Haiku goes to Grend31 (me) for "Prison Bitch".

The award for Most Monotonous Piece of Drivel Haiku goes to Grend31 (me) for "Mope".
